French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy told Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Paris on Thursday that he was "a friend of Israel, even when others were not, and will continue to be a friend in the future."
Sarkozy also told Olmert that Israel should "remain strong on the Iranian nuclear issue."
