German police conduct raids in far-right crackdown

German police say more than 200 apartments and businesses are being searched across the country in a crackdown on the far-right music scene.
The production and sale of right-wing music that promotes an extremist agenda or racial hatred is against the law in Germany. Authorities say they were searching for banned CDs and other items.
Wednesday's raids are part of a monthslong investigation led by Stuttgart prosecutors and federal authorities involving some 100 suspects. A news conference will be held later in the day.
