Dozens of Maoist militants attacked a police compound in eastern India, killing 10 police personnel and one civilian and fleeing in a hijacked bus with guns and ammunitions they seized, news reports said Saturday.
The attack on the compound, about 100 kilometers from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa state, occurred late Friday, Press Trust of India news agency reported.
