Japan has offered to host a Middle East peace conference in March, Israel Radio reported.
Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso told reporters at a Tokyo press conference Tuesday that representatives from Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian Authority would be invited.
Plans for the conference have not yet been finalized, but the proposed date is March 14.
