Japanese family detained in Malaysia for protesting at Olympic Torch relay

The Malaysian leg of the Olympic Torch relay has begun after a brief disturbance by a Japanese family. Malaysian police said they detained a Japanese family who unfurled a pro-Tibet banner at Independence Square. Witnesses said the two adults and a boy were heckled and possibly roughed up by Chinese bystanders during the confrontation.
