An All Nippon Airways passenger plane carrying 60 people was forced to make an emergency landing in southwestern Japan on Tuesday because of a problem with its front landing gear.
Public broadcaster NHK showed footage of the plane making a slow and controlled landing on its extended rear wheels, and carefully touching its nose to the runway. The front wheels were not extended.
