Major fire breaks out at London's famous Camden market

A major fire broke out late Saturday at London's famous Camden market, fire officials and witnesses said. There were no immediate reports of casualties. A London fire department spokeswoman said more than 100 firefighters and 20 vehicles were at the scene battling the blaze, which occurred off of Chalk Farm Road, near one of the British capital's most popular open-air markets. An Associated Press Television News reporter at the scene reported the smell of gas, and said the fire appeared to be spreading across the markets, consuming part of the Hawley Arms, a famous Camden pub where celebrities including singer Amy Winehouse hang out.
