A suspected US missile strike is reported to have killed at least four suspected insurgents in northwest Pakistan, intelligence officials said. The two officials said the strike occurred just after dawn Wednesday in Bannu, a settled region in Pakistan just outside the tribal areas. The tribal regions have borne the brunt of a surge in the missile attacks, so the strike in Bannu was unusual. The officials said their agents reported foreigners were among the dead. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media.
