Palestinians vandalized a monument styled as a menorah in the Nicaraguan capital city of Managua, in protest of Israel's military operation in the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported early on Thursday morning.
The protesters waved a Palestinian flag where the menorah stood.
"The monument on Jerusalem Avenue represents Zionism and the state of Israel, which is murdering Palestinians in Gaza," a Palestinian protester reportedly said.
According to Israel Radio, some 5,000 Palestinians live in Managua.
