Protests planned for 3rd anniversary of Iraq war

Anti-war activists demanding coalition troops pull out of Iraq planned marches and rallies across the world on Saturday to mark the third anniversary of the US-led invasion. Opposition to the war is still evident in Australia, which has some 1,300 troops in and around Iraq. Visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was heckled by campaigners in Sydney this week, who said she had "blood on her hands." Campaigners planned weekend demonstrations in major cities across the globe to demand the withdrawal of foreign troops.
