Roadside bomb blast kills 4 security guards in eastern Afghanistan

A roadside bomb struck a vehicle carrying Afghan security guards working for the U.S. military in eastern Afghanistan, killing four of them and wounding one, an official said Wednesday. The blast targeted the guards' vehicle on Tuesday in the Shinkay district of Khost province, said Wazir Pacha, a spokesman for the provincial police chief. Four security guards were killed in the explosion and one was wounded, Pacha said.
