Scottish official: Two cases of swine flu found in UK

Scotland's health secretary on Monday evening said authorities have confirmed Britain's first cases of swine flu. Nicola Sturgeon said tests have "conclusively" confirmed two cases of swine flu in Scotland. The two infected people were kept in hospital after showing flu-like symptoms following a trip to Mexico, where more than 140 people have been killed in an outbreak of the deadly virus. Seven people who came into contact with them have also shown mild symptoms. Sturgeon said Monday that both individuals were "recovering well in hospital" and that the threat to the British public remains "very low."
