Three charged with mob hit outside NYC strip

Three reputed associates of the Gambino crime family have been charged with murdering a suspected Mafia informant in 1998. The three are accused of participating in the slaying of Frank Hydell outside a strip club on Staten Island. Prosecutors say the three killed Hydell to stop him from revealing what he knew about the murder of a construction foreman in Brooklyn a year earlier. One man was arrested Wednesday and the other two already were behind bars on other charges related to mob activity.
