Turkey's PM accuses EU of making 'unjust decision'
By JERUSALEM POST STAFF
Turkey's prime minister on Saturday called the European Union's decision to partially freeze talks with his country as a "great injustice."
At a summit in Brussels Thursday, EU leaders endorsed a decision to partially freeze Turkey's membership talks over its refusal to open ports and airports to EU member Cyprus, whose government Turkey does not recognize. "The EU Council decision is a great injustice for Turkey," Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a joint news conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
