Two men who plotted to kill Obama indicted

A US federal grand jury in Tennessee indicted Daniel Cowart, 20, and Paul Schlesselman, 18 on charges of making threats against a presidential candidate, illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun and conspiracy to rob a federally licensed gun dealer, federal officials said late Wednesday. Authorities said that the two self-described white supremacists planned a killing spree that would involve killing dozens of people, culminating in Obama's assassination. The pair were arrested last month, before Obama was elected as America's 44th president, and are being held without bond.
