University of Minnesota receives bomb threat

Eight buildings at the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis campus were evacuated Wednesday after a professor found a note with a bomb threat against several campus buildings. The buildings, including a library, were evacuated and classes in those buildings were canceled for the day. The threat came only days after a 23-year-old student shot 32 people to death and committed suicide Monday at Virginia Tech. On Tuesday, campus threats forced lockdowns and evacuations at universities, high schools and middle schools in at least 10 states.
