The US-led coalition says its troops killed five suspected militants during a raid in northern Afghanistan.
The coalition said in a statement that four other people were detained during Sunday's raid on a compound in Kunduz province, near the border with Tajikistan.
It said the Afghan and US troops were targeting a "terrorist network" and were fired on after entering the compound.
But Abdul Manan, a local government official, said the raid targeted his house and killed two of his guards, a cook, a driver and another man.
