The Bush administration says it is dispatching a Treasury Department official to Beijing to help authorities move ahead on the release of $25 million in frozen North Korea funds.
The frozen funds led to the breakdown of fresh talks on North Korea's nuclear program.
Daniel Glaser, deputy assistant secretary for terrorist financing and financial crimes, will lead a delegation to China on Saturday "to offer assistance" to authorities in Macau and China dealing with the frozen money held at Banco Delta Asia, a bank in the Chinese territory of Macau.
