Iran, Russia resume talks over Bushehr payment

Russian and Iranian nuclear officials met for a second day of talks Thursday over the construction of a Russian-built atomic energy plant that has fallen behind schedule because of what Moscow said were delays in Iranian payments. A delegation led by the vice president of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Muhammad Saeedi, traveled to Moscow in an effort to resolve the payment dispute. The disagreement could push back the Bushehr plant's planned September launch as well as the uranium fuel deliveries that had been scheduled to begin this month.
