Iran says Baker report on Iraq still ambiguous

Iran said Sunday the report by the Baker-Hamilton commission on the US-led war in Iraq was still ambiguous, and therefore Teheran could not yet comment on possible talks with the United States on Iraq. "This report still has ambiguous angles, and therefore it is unsuitable to either comment on the report or talks with the US," Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said in a press briefing in Teheran. The spokesman said that "although drowning in Iraq," the US was once again raising preconditions for talking to Iran, referring to the US demand from Iran to suspend its uranium enrichment program. "The US should first amend all its Middle East policies," Hosseini said.
