An Israeli Air Force (IAF) commander of the Ramat David Airbase said that he participated in a strike against Iran managed by the ultra-Orthodox technicians from the IAF’s "Scorpion" Squadron (105)

This squadron, consisting of dozens of volunteer soldiers, was formed specifically for the conflict. They worked alongside officers and sergeants, who provided crucial support, ensuring the mission was executed smoothly and that all personnel returned safely.

"For more than a week, the IAF, along with our base, has been operating in perfect synchronization, much like an orchestra," the commander said. "Having served in the Air Force for many years, I have never witnessed such a high level of operational and human strength."

The commander also emphasized the dedication of both regular and reserve pilots. "I send our pilots—both regular and reserve—on these critical missions with the deepest respect," he continued. "I always remind them that such operations require unwavering vigilance and humility."

A strong home base

“I am truly in awe of the resilience displayed by the Israeli home front; it strengthens our resolve. The fact that we can carry out missions far from home because our home is strong fuels our confidence.

He concluded by highlighting the ongoing war in Gaza and the plight of Israeli hostages held by Hamas. "At the same time, we never forget the hostages with every flight, whether near or far. Our thoughts and hearts are with them," he said. "This isn’t just another mission; we are shaping reality itself."
