International aid drops into the Gaza Strip have stopped until further notice, Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported on Monday evening.
The Israeli public broadcaster reported that Jordan stopped airdropping aid into Gaza a week ago for "logistical reasons," while Egypt had stopped dropping aid nearly a month ago.
KAN reported that the IDF has not received any new coordination requests at this time.
Officials told KAN that if Jordan or Egypt submits any new request, Israel will review it accordingly. However, KAN reported that countries that have air-dropped aid have stopped because they understand that enough aid trucks are entering Gaza.
IDF stops aid drops into Gaza City
On Friday, KAN initially reported that Israel would stop dropping humanitarian aid packages over Gaza City.
The report added that Israel will also reduce the flow of aid into the northern part of the Strip, which is done to communicate the message to civilians on the ground that they must begin evacuating south, in light of the IDF's invasion of Gaza City.
The IDF began the Gaza City invasion on August 21 and sent out some 60,000 conscription letters.
The IDF will reportedly take over the city before Rosh Hashanah. KAN reported that the military's operation plan will take about two to three months.
