Chief Sgt. First Class (Res.) Shmuel Gad Rahamim succumbed to his wounds after being wounded in battle while fighting in the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced on Saturday evening.
His funeral will take place on October 12, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Mount Herzl military cemetery, Maariv announced on Sunday.
Rahamim, 31, served in the 7015th Battalion of the Gaza Division's Southern Brigade.
He was initially wounded on Tuesday, the anniversary of the October 7 massacre, in southern Gaza.
According to the IDF's tally, the death of Rahamim raises the total of soldiers killed on or since October 7 of last year to 915.
Some 468 of this number were killed since the start of the military's ground operations in the Strip on October 27.
