The IDF fired shots at an Israeli 23-year-old who attempted to carry out a stabbing at the entrance to Kedumim in the northern West Bank, the IDF confirmed on Sunday morning.
No injuries were reported.
The Israeli was taken to the hospital in moderate to severe condition, Magen David Adom stated.
IDF to investigate incident
"A preliminary investigation indicates that an Israeli civilian approached IDF troops while carrying a knife. The civilian was wounded and evacuated for medical treatment," the IDF stated a short while after the incident.
"The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation."
