The IDF struck Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut as well as various targets in Iran in the early hours of Monday morning, the military announced.

This follows waves of missiles launched against Israel during the overnight of Sunday-Monday.

The IDF announced on Sunday that overnight, it killed five senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force liaison officials with Hezbollah in an attack on the Ramada Hotel in Beirut.

According to the IDF, it warned those residing in the hotel of an imminent attack, and most of those at the hotel evacuated.

Next, the IDF said that those killed included a top Quds Force-Hezbollah official for intelligence, a top Palestinian intelligence official, and a top Quds Force-Hezbollah terror financing official.

According to the IDF, the terror financial official was the key figure for transferring $770 million from Iran to Hezbollah this past year.

There were also at least two other senior Quds Force-Hezbollah officials killed.

IDF strikes IRGC military infrastructure

Additionally on Monday, the IDF revealed that it had struck several long-range ballistic missiles launch sites and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military infrastructure during an additional wave of airstrikes on Iran.

Headquarters belonging to regime’s Internal Security force in Isfahan, and IRGC police forces were hit during the strikes, as well as a base belonging to the IRGC and Basij militia.

“The Internal Security and Basij forces constitute part of the Iranian armed forces that are subject to the Iranian terror regime, and have for years advanced terror activity,” the IDF said in its statement.

“The forces constitute a central arm in the repression of the Iranian civilian population and are responsible for the use of brutal and systematic violence against it.”

A rocket engine production facility was also struck.
