The IDF uncovered over 340 weapons belonging to the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization during recent operations in the southern Lebanon Security Zone, the military announced on Thursday.

Soldiers belonging to the IDF's 188th Brigade of the 36th Division found the weapons in the Beaufort Ridge and Litani River areas, with examples including RPG rockets, anti-tank missiles, mortar shells, firearms, explosives, and ammunition.

In addition, an approximately seven-meter-deep tunnel shaft stocked with medical and living equipment was found inside a civilian home.

The 188th Brigade began conducting its Lebanon operations after 20 months of active duty in the Gaza Strip, with a training period before its redeployment, the military added.
