Police launched an investigation Saturday morning after a man's body, bearing apparent signs of violence, was found in southern Tel Aviv.
A municipal street cleaner uncovered the body and reported to a police patrol in the area of the deceased man who lay on the roadside covered in cloth and debris.
Magen David Adom emergency workers evacuated the body from the scene.
Authorities suspected a criminal background in the incident and were working to determine the circumstances of the alleged murder.
