Police raided ten pet stores in the city of Barta’a and discovered turtles, partridges and goldfinches kept illegally, the police reported on Monday.
Two Palestinian suspects were arrested in the city located on the Green Line, in the Wadi Ara region. The raids were made in the Palestinian side of the city.
“Even when we’re dealing with stores and homes within the Palestinian Authority, that does not deter us,” the police reported. “We will continue to uphold the law to protect the nature, which belongs to all of us.”
