Netanya attempted murder
Two men from the Netanya area will face an indictment in the coming days for the attempted murder of a criminal rival they allegedly rammed with a car and then shot on a local street in the coastal city in August.
The two suspects, Ran Shabah, 27, from Netanya and Maor Malul, 31 from Kfar Yonah, will face charges of attempted murder and conspiracy, the spokesman for the Central District police said Tuesday.
In dramatic surveillance camera video of the incident released by police on Tuesday, the victim can be seen riding a scooter when he is hit by a car and knocked onto the pavement. A struggle then ensues, during which the victim fights his attacker, grappling with him to pull a pistol from his hand.
