Israeli-Arab Abdul Abed El Rachman is quick to point out that Arabs who reside in Israel are living in a democracy.In a video released in March he shared with the world how he texted Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan – and was texted back.“He did that because he’s right wing,” he said, adding that “left leaning people wouldn’t write back…they see us as pets.”El Rachman slammed the Joint List party, saying they “want to see deprived Arabs.”“At least the right puts things on the table," he said.El Rachman was adamant that, in contrast to what others might think, “there are two million Arabs in Israel and they are having fun,” studying, working, and having their say on what is going on in the country they were born into.AdvertisementHe also added that the Jewish people were able to achieve great things because of unity. “ The Jewish people have a history connecting them to Israel," El Rachman.
