10 injured in crash near Eilat

A 10-year-old boy who was not wearing a seat belt and a woman were seriously hurt.
They were air-lifted to Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba.
Doctors there said on Sunday evening that the child was in a “very serious” condition and that the woman was in moderate condition.
The other eight injured were ferried by Magen David Adom ambulances to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat.
Firefighters came to the scene but found that none of the injured were trapped.
Police said the accident took place near the location of a major bus accident in December 2008, in which 24 Russian travel agents were killed when their speeding vehicle fell into a ditch.
