A 19-year-old youth drowned Saturday some four meters off the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
The youth entered the water despite the fact that he did not know how to swim, and the beach where he met his death was designated a "no swimming" area, Army Radio reported.
A Magen David Adom rescue crew who arrived at the scene attempted to resuscitate him, unsuccessfully.
