40 percent of all IDF soldiers killed during last summer's war in Lebanon died as a result of military errors and mismanagement, this according to research conducted by the IDF and presented to Defense Minster Amir Peretz and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Wednesday.
The research also stated that of the 40%, ten percent died from "friendly fire."
