The Histadrut announced Wednesday night that 40,000 government office employees would strike on Thursday in protest of the Finance Ministry's refusal to change the tender for banking services at Bank Yahav.
The strike will be held in all government offices, including courts, National Insurance offices, government employment agencies, population registry offices, rabbinical courts and vehicle licensing bureaus. Government hospitals are set to operate with limitations.
