The Judea and Samaria police arrested four Jewish youngsters aged 17 to 18 and one off-duty soldier at 5 a.m. Sunday morning on suspicion that they stole three cars from Israel during the course of the night and tried to smuggle them into the West Bank. Two of the cars were reported stolen from Rishon LeTzion and one was stolen from Tel Aviv. The Israelis tried to smuggle the cars into the West Bank via the Na'alin checkpoint. They were interrogated by police and later moved to a jail in the Tel Aviv area. This may be part of a new trend in which Israelis are stealing automobiles and smuggling them into the West Bank, according to Judea and Samaria police.
