Agudat Yisrael and Degel Hatorah agreed on Wednesday night to run together for the 17th Knesset.
Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, Degel's supreme spiritual leader, approved the agreement, which will create a rotation in the sixth slot on the Knesset list between Degel Hatorah's Uri Maklev and Agudat Yisrael's Yisrael Eichler.
The final signature that will unite the parties is expected on Thursday.
