Police on Sunday requested to extend the remand of four minors in possession of flammable materials who were arrested under the suspicion that they planned to film an instruction video on the preparation of Molotov cocktails. The youths were detained by authorities after a Haifa resident informed police that the group was conducting a "ceremony" in a public park in the city. A patrol car arrived at the scene and arrested the boys, aged 15 to 17. Among the flammable materials confiscated by police were turpentine, benzene and acetone. The youths were transferred to the police unit in charge of minors for an investigation, during which they said they conducted a ceremony in the context of an unknown international organization whose mission was unclear. The members of the group also admitted that they planned to broadcast their video, which teaches audiences how to manufacture the weapon, on the Internet.
