The State Attorney's Office said Friday that it had decided to release Dror Alperon from custody since there was no proof that he stabbed Amir Mulner in a fight at the Daniel Hotel in Herzliya six weeks ago.
On hotel security camera footage Alperon was shown holding a knife and hitting one of Mulner's associates with his fists but he was not seen stabbing any of the men.
Alperon was released on Thursday before the completion of his remand.
