Ammonia leak shuts Jerusalem dairy factory

An ammonia leak at a Jerusalem factory on Sunday lightly injured a worker and caused the evacuation of the plant, police said. An Environment Ministry team that deals with dangerous materials was rushed to the scene of the early evening leak in the city's Tnuva factory, which originated from a tank in the factory's basement. Police closed down streets around the factory, and rerouted traffic in the area. The injured worker was treated by medics on the scene.
