Army Radio: Melchior knew of Hamas border breach 48 hours in advance

MK Michael Melchior (Labor) knew in advance about Hamas's plan to breach the Rafah Crossing on the border of the Gaza Strip and Egypt, Army Radio reported on Thursday.
According to the report, 48 hours before the breach occurred, an unspecified spiritual leader called Melchior and told him what was about to happen. However, thinking that Israeli intelligence was already aware of the situation, Melchior did not report the call to defense officials.
The MK refused to comment to Army Radio about the report.
