Police fear murder-suicide, say pair had no history of violence, motive unknown.

Ashdod police said on Monday that they suspected Henry Papiashvilli, a 29-year-old businessman, shot and killed his 21-year-old-wife Aya in their apartment before turning the gun on himself.
Relatives became concerned for the young woman's well being after several calls to her cell phone and residence went unanswered for several hours, according to Israel Radio. They arrived at the apartment in the southern port city, where they discovered the bodies of the woman and her husband in one of the apartment's rooms.
Commander of the Ashdod police station Dani Elgert said a handgun was found near the two bodies and that a preliminary investigation indicated that the husband had been the shooter.
The couple's two-year-old daughter was staying with her maternal grandmother when the killings occurred, Elgert said.
Elgert said the couple immigrated to Israel from Georgia during the 90's and that the husband had been a world-class wrester in his youth.
Police said they had not received any previous reports of violence at the address and they were yet to establish a motive.
