Following a car crash Tuesday night, Eliran Shemesh, 20, died of his injuries Wednesday morning at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
Shemesh, an Asheklon resident, was mortally wounded when the car he was riding in crashed into a tree.
The driver of the car and one other passenger were lightly to moderately wounded.
Lachish Traffic Authority inspectors are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
