A 13-year-old boy has been selling his body to men for sex in order to buy medicine and food for his mother, Israel Radio reported Thursday morning.
An NGO that deals with youth at risk discovered the situation. The boy, from the south, will be placed with a foster family.
The head of the Social Workers Association, Yitzhak Perry, said in an interview with Israel Radio that budget shortfalls have caused huge delays in treating children and youth at risk.
