Cab driver lightly wounded after being car-jacked

A taxi driver from Rosh Ha'ayin was lightly wounded on Sunday afternoon after he was attacked by several passengers near Ariel. The men, whom he described as having a Palestinian or Israeli-Arab appearance, stole his car, not before stabbing him in the back and in his leg, Judea and Samaria police said. The driver was evacuated to the HaSharon Hospital in Petah Tikva. According to the police, the vehicle is now in Kalkilya. A request was forwarded to Palestinian police to return the stolen vehicle.
