Cable programming allowed to run subliminal ads

Various television channels will now be permitted to include subliminal advertising in entertainment, reality, and soap opera programming, the Council for Cable and Satellite Broadcasting decided Thursday evening. Subliminal advertising will be launched for a six-month trial period on channels 9, 24, and Moreshet, which is due to begin broadcasting soon. However, advertising will not be allowed on news, documentary, investigative, or children's programming, or on movies, Army Radio reported.
