In a closed meeting of the Balad party council members, the present three MKs were voted to keep their seats. Azmi Bishara continues to hold the top spot, Jamal Zahalka remains in the second and Wasel Taha keeps the third.
Balad now needs to decide if it will run on it's own or join the United Arab List composed of the Islamist Movement and K Taleb A-Sanaa, a Beduin MK.
Since the raising of the minimum threshold, the Arab political parties face losing power unless they make coalitions with other parties.
