MK Colette Avital (Labor) announced officially her candidacy for the presidency, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday.
Avital was one of the outspoken members at the Knesset House Committee last week calling to impeach Moshe Katsav, the current president, who was accused of severe sex offenses, including rape.
