Court expected to convict Zadok for Bukhri murder

A Tel Aviv court was expected to convict underworld figure Meir Zadok on Monday afternoon of the murder of Yosef Bukhri two years ago. According to the prosecution, Zadok rode a bicycle to Bukhri's home and shot him. Zadok claimed in his defense that he happened to be at the crime scene while purchasing drugs, but did not shoot Bukhri. Drug kingpin Zeev Rosenstein, recently extradited to the US, was accused of ordering the hit.
