Dahlia Dorner to head Holocaust survivors inquiry commission

Retired Supreme Court judge Dahlia Dorner will head the state inquiry commission which will investigate Israel's treatment of Holocaust survivors, Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch announced Sunday. The committee will also include two professors, one of whose parents are themselves Holocaust survivors. The State Control Committee announced in January that it would appoint a commission to look into the reasons for severe delays in transferring special pensions to Holocaust survivors.
