Newly-appointed Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter warned on Sunday that security forces would have no tolerance towards violence directed at them by civilians.
"Anyone who threatens or hits a police officer will be met with an iron fist," he said as he replaced MK Gideon Ezra as internal security minister.
"Representatives of the law will not be trampled," Dichter added.
